French Alps hotel
The hotel "Les Suites du Nevada" in Tignes is made up of 25 suites in a chalet style building. Externally it is a pretty mix of locals’ stone and pine, yet inside the finishes are less conventional. Rough-cut dark wooden beams and left exposed both as supporting piers and ceiling joist, with dark, wide wooden floorboards of a beautiful grain… At 2100 m Val Claret is the resort high point of Tignes, one of the highest resort in Europe, and the addition of the Suites du Nevada reinforces its position as the most desirables base in Tignes valley. It is arguably the best place to place from which to explore the Espace Killy, being a couple of lifts from the top of the Grand Motte Glacier and right in the center of some best high altitude skiing in the french Alps...
